Our Pomegranate | Tenuta dei mille

The pomegranate trees are cultivated with passion and respect to our land.

Our production

Tenuta dei Mille has planted several hectors of North American pomegranates variety, known as Smith “Wonderful”. Their distribution is subject to strict control and very few producers worldwide. We are the first farmers in Sicily to grow Smith’s patented pomegranates.

Nutritional properties

The “Wonderful” variety has unique features of deep red pigment, softer seeds, high juice content with antioxidant benefits, and matures four weeks earlier than other varietals. Our unique North American pomegranates are harvested during the month of August.
